MOXI Laser

A gentle, yet powerful 1927nm fractionated non-ablative laser that works no matter the season or skin type. Designed to effectively treat the visible signs of ageing and produce even toned, radiant skin without the recovery or downtime associated with more aggressive laser procedures. Can be paired with BBL treatments for enhanced rejuvenation of sun damage.

  • Safe for dark skin types.

  • Helps with pigmentation including Melasma.

  • Can be safely administered as a treatment during summer months.

  • Improves texture of the skin.

  • Reduces appearance of pores.

  • Promotes smooth, young looking skin.

  • Less downtime than any other laser treatments.

  • Can apply makeup 24 hours after.

There are three levels of intensity of the treatment depending on the skin concerns and effect we want to achieve. Level 1 is the lightest with very little to no downtime. Levels 2 and 3 are more advanced and result in greater improvement of the skin, but also mean there will be more downtime.

Generally, after level 3 you can expect the following effects:

  • The treated area may be warm for 1-2 hours after the treatment, which can continue for 12-24 hours. We recommend cold compresses and a water spray to provide relief and moisture to the skin.

  • Redness for the first few days is normal and expected with day 3 usually being the most intense. It can persist for up to seven days depending on the intensity of the treatment. We recommend gentle cleansers, moisturiser and sun protection.

  • MENDs (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) will appear on second or third day as tiny dark spots. MENDs are part of the healing process where treated tissue is working its way out of your body as new fresh skin is regenerated. During this time, your skin will be very dry and feel like sandpaper before flaking and peeling off. Keep your skin well moisturised to support the healing process. Do not pick at your skin.

We offer three levels of treatment intensity depending on your skin concerns and desired results. Level one is the lightest with minimal to no downtime. Level two and three are associated  with a longer recovery time but more noticeable improvements. We typically advise topical anaesthetic with the more intense settings .

  • The treated area may feel extremely warm for one to two hours following this treatment and warmth may continue for 12 to 24 hours.  Cold compresses can provide relief and a mineral water spray will provide moisture and comfort post treatment. • 15-60 minutes depending on the need for topical anaesthetic and whether it is combined with a BBL corrective treatment.
