Our clients are guided through a thorough initial consultation.  The consultation will include clinical photography and a skin assessment and review to discuss your concerns and expectations and decide on whether any other aligning treatments are necessary. The Skin Company will create a customised treatment plan to provide you with optimal results and a natural, balanced appearance.

The facial treatment involves five injection points on each side of the face, using very fine needles. This will take approximately 10 minutes. The procedure is relatively painless.  After the treatment, small mosquito-like  bumps may be seen at the injection points, which can last between 2 and 24 hours.

Post injection, the bioremodelling gel spreads like liquid honey under the skin. There is no pain following this procedure, although minor bruising can occur at the injection sites.

Profhilo Classic focuses on hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality and provides a subtle, natural improvement in skin quality.

We will provide you with full instructions relating to the after care process at home.  In general, you can expect to return to normal activities after your treatment. 

The Skin Company recommends:

• Ice/cool compress to address discomfort, swelling and bruising

• NO makeup on the treated area for at least 24 hours

• Please do not lie down immediately afterwards, or do strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours

• Please do not have any facial treatments such as laser or peel procedures for at least two weeks 

• Please do not handle your face or apply pressure to the treated area

• Please expect that the treatment areas will have a lumpy appearance for up to 48 hours in some cases (an average of 24 hours). 

Results are seen after your first 2 treatments.
